October to March is ideal — pleasant weather for temple visits. Summer (April–June) is very hot. Major festivals like Meenakshi Thirukalyanam (April–May) bring spectacular celebrations.
General temple entry is free at all shrines. Queue-jump darshan tickets (Special Entry) can be arranged at extra cost — we recommend this to save time, especially at Tirumala.
Traditional attire is recommended: saree or churidar for women, dhoti or veshti for men. Most temples require removal of footwear. We brief all participants before each temple visit.
