A one-night houseboat cruise in Alleppey (Alappuzha) is included. The houseboat has AC bedrooms, a private deck, and a cook who prepares Kerala meals onboard.
September to March is ideal — post-monsoon lush greenery and pleasant weather. Summer (April–May) is also good. Avoid peak monsoon (June–August) for backwater travel.
Thekkady (Periyar Tiger Reserve) offers boat safaris on Periyar Lake where you can spot elephants, bison, wild boar and deer. Tiger sightings are rare but possible.
